After a quieter December and January everyone seems to be starting to get back into the swing of racing, building towards their 2019 goals.

Centurion GP – 5 Mile Run – Sunday 3rd February 2019
The winter grand prix series held by Centurion RC. These are well run local events and a great way to keep the legs turning over the winter. There are still more races left in the series which runs until April 2019 so it would great to see some more Titans at future events.

A 2 lap 10k run through Sutton Park, the perfect opportunity to blow out the winter cobwebs and start the 2019 racing season.

Leicestershire Half Marathon – Sunday 17th February 2019
Starting and finishing at the beautiful Prestwold Hall, the second Leicestershire Half Marathon covered the flat and fast paths of Prestwold Hall Circuit, the perfect opportunity to get yourself a chip timed personal best over the half marathon distance.

Dirty Dozen Trail Run – Saturday 23rd February 2019
The Dirty Dozen 12k is a “proper” trail running event at Cannock Chase, with lots of hills, hard stone tracks, muddy single track sections and the infamous “Ditch Of Doom”.

The Cambridgeshire Classic Sportive is a gentle early season ride to get your year’s training underway, with routes suitable for all levels whether you’re a newcomer or a seasoned cyclist.
All routes on the Cambridgeshire Classic Sportive have a series of short climbs and descents, broken up by opportunities to spin of those legs back into shape on the flatter sections.
