National Club Relays – Saturday 25th August
We had 6 teams at this weekend`s National Club Relays. The event took place at National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham.
Each team consisted of 4 people. Each member of the team individually swimming 500metres, before tagging their team mate, and so on, and so on, until all four people have completed the swim. Moving onto the 15km bike, each athlete individually completes the 15km bike, until the last team member then tags the first team member to start the 5km run section.

Coalville Triathlon Sunday 26th August
This is the first year for the Coalville Triathlon and consisted of a 400m (pool swim), 20k Bike and 5k run.
Darryl Johnson 1:27:00 6th in his age category and did well as competed in the relays the day before
Kenilworth Half Marathon – Sunday 2nd September
The Kenilworth Half Marathon route is an undulating out and back course in the town centre and along quiet country lanes with the first and last part on the Town main street.

Helvellyn Tri – Sunday 2rd September
One of the toughest triathlons in the world, swim is in Lake Ulswater (1 Mile), Cycle includes the infamous struggle to the top of Kirkstone pass (38 Miles) and the run-up and down Helvellyn (9 Miles).

St Giles Sportive (3 routes 27/40/75 miles) – Sunday 2nd September
The 27 mile route will pass through Walton on Trent, Rosliston, Netherseal, Clifton Campville, Haunton and Harlaston.
The intermediate 40 mile route passes through Walton on Trent, Netherseal, Chilcote Austrey, No Man’s Heath, Orton on the Hill, Shuttington, Clifton Campville, Haunton and Harlaston.
The challenging 75 mile ride passes through Barton under Needwood, Dunstall, Newborough, Marchington Cliff, Abbots Bromley, Little Haywood, picturesque Cannock Chase, Upper Longdon, Hamstall Ridware, Kings Bromley and Fradley Junction.
27 mile route – Amanda Secker
40 mile route – Robin Canning, Rex Walsh and Pete Buckley
75 mile route – Gareth Jolly, Nick Branson
