ITU World Triathlon Grand Final Rotterdam 2017 – (Age group Sprint) Sunday 17th September 2017
This was a sprint distance Triathlon which consist of 750m Swim, 20km Bike. The cycle course for the Age Groupers leads participants along the Maas river, crossing the three landmark bridges of Rotterdam, the Erasmus Bridge, Willems Bridge and van Brienenoord Bridge followed by a 5km run.
Darren Jones had another great result in his age grp race and finished 16th with a time of 1:11:25
Draycote Water 10 & 20 mile road race – Sunday 24th September 2017
Draycote Water is set in the heart of Warwickshire and the this run consist of 4 laps around Draycote Water and was very hot conditions

Velo Birmingham – Sunday 24th September 2017
Starting on Broad Street in the heart of Birmingham, the 100 mile fully closed road route will take you on a breath taking journey from city to country, passing through Staffordshire and Worcestershire via Sandwell and Dudley. With 1,754m of climbing, it’s a challenging route with some notable climbs.
We had several team members take part in this event and they are as follows:

Hever Castle Triathlon – Sunday 24th Sept 2017
The race commenced with an open-water swim in the spectacular 38 acre Hever Castle Lake and River Eden, transitioning into the undulating cycle that takes athletes around a circuit through the High Weald of Kent, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The largely off-road run circumnavigates the estate as well as taking runners through land owned by the Bellhurst Nature Conservation Trust (the majority of this section is not on public rights of way), then returning to the award-winning castle grounds before athletes make the dash to the tree-lined finishing chute beside the lake.
Standard Distance consisted of 1.5km swim. 40km bike and 10km run

ROC Mountain Marathon – Saturday 23rd an Sunday 24th Sept
The 2017 ROC Mountain Marathon was held in the South-West Lake District. This is a two day fell running race in an area which boasts some incredible terrain.
Andy Lewis (Long score male veterans) was 54th overall and 12th male veteran and a time of 11:26:31
Disneyland Paris – Val d’Europe Half Marathon Weekend – 21-24th September
The 13.1 mile Half Marathon will put you in the middle of all the Disney magic. At Walt Disney Studios Park, you’ll run down Hollywood Boulevard, and past the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. At Disneyland Park, you’ll run through Main Street, U.S.A., past Sleeping Beauty Castle, and then through the countryside and villages that surround the Disney Parks, circle back to Disney Village en route to the finish line for a victory celebration and your Disneyland Paris – Val d’Europe Half Marathon Weekend Finisher Medal. And along with your family or friends, Disney Characters will be on hand to cheer you along the race course.

Equinox 24 – Sat 23rd and Sunday 24th September
The Equinox24 is a 24 hour mixed terrain race around a 10k loop against the clock. The 10k route will take you around the picturesque Belvoir Castle Estate.
Ron Mahoney took part in this event as a Solo Runner and managed to complete 87 miles throughout the 24 hours which is a huge achievement
White Horse Ridge Gravelcross Sportive – Sunday 24th September
Based at Chilton right at the foot of the Ridgeway, the White Horse Ridge CX is all about the terrain! Unlike most of the CX Sportive events, which chop and change between road and tracks, the White Horse Ridge is 95% off road. The Ridgeway mixes mile upon mile of grass, gravel, dirt and chalk track, riding high above sweeping views of the Oxfordshire plain. (5% Road and 95% fast tracks and bridleways)
