Coventry’s Half Marathon 13.2 Miles Sunday 19th March 

Coventry’s Half Marathon will start and finish alongside Coventry Transport Museum. Runners will take a loop of the city centre on closed roads before a gradual climb out of the city towards Radford and through Allesley. The final section of the route takes runners downhill in to the city centre and back to where they started at Millennium Place

We had several team members take part as follows

Mark Jarvis 1:24:27 (new PB), finished 59th overall out of 2896

Steve Broadrick 2:08:40 also a new PB and Steve has taken over 30 mins of his last Half Marathon

Ron Mahoney 1:24:13, finished 57th overall

ALDI Ashby 20 mile Road Race – Sunday 19th March 

The ALDI Ashby 20 has a reputation as a thoroughly testing route. Rural and undulating is how it is often described, with several inclines to test your stamina!

We had two team members take part in this event

Bobby Singh finished with a time of 3hrs 21min

Lee Talbot finished with a time of 3hrs 25mins

Stafford Half Marathon Sunday 19th March

The Stafford Half Marathon now in its 33rd year, the race starts from Stafford Street in the town centre and then the route heads off from the town centre on traffic-controlled roads, incorporating two steady climbs before returning to the Market Square via Victoria Park.

Martin Hollamby (also a Peel Road Runner) finished with a time of 1:22:45 and was a new PB , also was 38th overall which is a great result

Simon Jarman finished with a time of 1:45:38 and was a new PB
