Just a quick update this month to remind everyone about our upcoming Parkrun takeover event this Saturday!
There have also had some exciting developments going on behind the scenes in the last few months which have helped expand the Club’s coaching and volunteering teams. We are still putting plans in place but we hope this extra resource will mean we are able to increase the amount activities we can run regularly as a club and offer a greater variety of sessions to our members, as well as the wider community!
Titan Parkrun Takeover! Saturday 19th October 2019
Don’t forget this Saturday is the Club’s volunteering takeover at Kingsbury Water Parkrun.
Please arrive before 8:15am for a volunteers briefing and if possible try to wear a club t-shirt (or a buff!). For those that can stay around after Parkrun it would be good to meet up in the cafe afterwards for a coffee and a catch up.
Even if you are not down to volunteer this weekend we hope as many members as possible will be able to join us at Parkrun to help give the club a strong showing!
New Triathlon Activators
Six Titan’s newly qualified as British Triathlon Community Activators this weekend!
Between this and a few upcoming L1 courses we will be expanding our Coaching team to help improve upon the variety of sessions we can offer regularly as a club.
Titan Triathlon Club has been awarded the TriMark Bronze Accreditation by British Triathlon.
Achieving this status is an important step in the Titan’s development as a club. It illustrating we are compliant with British Triathlon’s standards for club management and demonstrates a solid foundation to build upon. More information on the requirements and benefits TriMark status bring can be found on the Club’s website.
We are still compiling the September and October Race Results (and updates the Titan Championship League table!) and this will be published on the website in the next few weeks.
It’s great to share what everyone in the club has been up, so to ensure your race results are included in the next update (and you get your #TitanChamps points!) please don’t forget to post details in the WhatsApp or Facebook Groups or message Ryan directly.
Key 2019 Club Races:
Titan Triathlon: Big Al’s Butty Run– Sunday 1st December – The club’s annual pre-Christmas 10k(ish) run around Sutton Park in memory of absent friends. This is a great social run with breakfast in the café afterwards so make sure you save the date!
Titan Triathlon: Christmas Party- Saturday 7th December – We have closed booking for this year’s club Christmas Party, however if you would like to attend and haven’t RSVP’d please let us know ASAP!
